Mrs. Dessie S. Grose, 87, of Procious, Clay County, died Oct. 3, 1988, in Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston, after a long illness. She was a member of Liberty Advent Christian Church, Procious. Surviving: daughter, Mrs. Ruth Bogard of Columbus, Ohio; sons, Roy of South Charleston, Gary of Minford, Ohio; sisters, Eva King and Verbie Arbogast, both of Procious, Delphia O'Dell of Ovapa, Addie Dawson and Ruby Samples, both of Clay; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren. Service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Liberty Advent Christian. Church,, with the Rev. Jim Shamblin officiating. Burial will be in A .J. Samples Cemetery, Procious. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Wilson Funeral Home, Clay.
