Mr. Dopheide is survived by his wife Kathryn, a son Duane, two foster daughters: Mrs. Marvin (Anita) Weber, Carroll and Mrs. LaVern (Edna) Trecker, Manning; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Fred (Shirley) Eischeid, Carroll; a brother, William Dopheide, Dedham, 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Larry on Oct. 2, 1964; his first wife Anna; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Helen) Uhlenkamp; two brothers: Henry and Fred, and a grandson.
Mr. Dopheide was born Sept. 12,1900 at Roselle, a son of John and Bernadine Heil Dopheide. He was married to Anna Langel, who died November 1932. He was married Jan. 12, 1937 to Kathryn Langel at Sacred Heart Church with the late Rt. Rev. Msgr. F.H. Huessman officiating.
A farmer all his life, he had lived for 47 years on the farm a half mile north of Templeton. He received his education at Holy Angels School, Roselle. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church.
