Mary-7 was the daughter of David-6 Calvin Warner Jr. and his wife Olive Rawson.

11 WARNER siblings: William, Eveline, Laura, George Valorus, Charles Calvin, [Self], Rebecca, Maria Jane, Lewis Cass, Amanda, Cordelia, and Mabelia.

Mary married (Rev.) John Fairchild.

4 FAIRCHILD children:

1. Horace Rawson Fairchild/s (1840-1924).
2. Helen Jane "Nellie" (Fairchild) McCarty (1843-1940).
3. George Boardman Fairchild (1846-1891).
4. Laura L. (Fairchild) Baker (1847-1904).

NOTE: All records state: Mary Warner was born in 1818 in Parma, Monroe, NY. She died 1/12/1894 in Caledonia, Kent, MI. She married Rev. John Fairhild. No death certificate can be found.

This large monument is a memorial to her memory, and that of her husband and their sons Horace and George.

The family moved to Cascade, Kent, Michigan from upstate New York or Canada between 1860 and 1870. Her husband's memorial states the move to MI was in May of 1852 and that their last child, Laura, was born in Canada in 1847.

John Fairchild, a farmer, became a Baptist preacher. He and his wife, plus her sister, Maria Jane "Jane" Sears and her husband, Horace Sears, and a few others organized the first Baptist church in Alto, Kent, MI. They also helped organize the churches in Whitneyville and Stone School House, all in Kent County, MI.
