On January 8, 1851, Infant Son Garver was born at Billingsville in Union County, Indiana, to physician Henry Fisher Garver (1824–1902) and Esther Ann [Richey] Garver (1821-1879). Infant Son Garver is the twin brother of Colonel Clair James Garver (1824-1902), who wed Esther Ann (Fisher) Garver (1821-1879), and with her raised twin sons and two daughters.
Infant Son Garver died during the month of January 1851 at Billingsville in Union County, Indiana, where he was interred at New Hope Cemetery. Fortunately, genealogists long ago recorded the names of persons interred at now unkept and extensively vandalized New Hope Cemetery in Union County, Indiana These interment records are available at the Indiana State Historical Society Library, in Indianapolis and include a record of Infant Son Garver's interment. Bruce Garver's fifth cousin Dennis Irvin Knox provided essential information to Bruce's writing of this bio.
