Bruce Morton Garver, who manages this Memorial and wrote the following "bio", is a third great-grandson of Jacob Garver (April 5, 1794, in Rowan County, NC, to Feb. 26, 1868, at Hamilton in Butler County, Ohio) who is a paternal great uncle of Rachael Ann Garver (1848-1850) and a brother of Rachael Ann Garver's paternal grandfather, Leonard J. Garver (1788 to 1875).

Rachael Ann Garver was born on September 18, 1848, to Dr. Henry Fisher Garver & Esther Ann (Richey) Garver. Of their four children, Rachael Ann Garver was the eldest.
On January 29, 1850, at the age of one year, four months, and eleven days, Rachael Ann Garver died in Union County, Indiana, where she was interred at New Hope Cemetery. Fortunately, genealogists long ago recorded the names of persons interred at now unkept and extensively vandalized New Hope Cemetery in Union County, Indiana These interment records are available at the Indiana State Historical Society Library, in Indianapolis and include a record of Rachael Ann Garver's interment.
