Leslie Chamberlain was born to Thomas (1854-1918) and Ellen Alvira (Carling) Chamberlain (1863-1951), the 7th of ten children that Ellen bore to Thomas Chamberlain in Orderville, Kane County, Utah. Ellen A. Carling was Thomas Chamberlain's 4th wife, the wedding having been held on March 13th, 1879. Little Leslie came into this world on November 19th, 1894 and passed from it on January 1st, 1895. I do not know the reason his brief life came to an end, although I am certain that it grieved his parents and brothers and sisters greatly, as it touched my heart when I first saw it. The death of a child is always a terribly sad occasion and even though the child is no longer with the living, he is loved forever. The poor child was laid to rest in Orderville Cemetery at Orderville, Kane County, Utah.

"Death leaves a hurt noone can heal, love leaves a memory noone can steal."

I would really appreciate a photo of his headstone that can be read by all.

A Very Big Thank You to Lon Mason for taking a photo that everyone can read, even me! It is a lovely headstone, made by his parents, I'm sure. And, because of Lon Mason, now anyone who looks at this memorial can see the headstone his parents so lovingly created. Thank you, Lon, so very much. Submitted by Kathie L.Webb Blair, March 7th, 2013
