From History of Maries Co, MO by Everett M. King, page 780: J. Harvey Tyree, a lawyer, married Lumima, daughter of Thomas Davis, long a resident of the Dry Creek community but then living below Stony Point. They settled in Jasper County and both are long since dead. Their living children are: Dr. Fred Tyree in Kansas; Millie, widow of T. A. Felker, and Maud, single, in Vienna; Jessie, widow of H. C. Felker, in Joplin. Another child, Mrs. Cora Truesdale, died several years ago; the names of her children have not been received.
