Starrett Funeral Home is to conduct graveside rites at 10 a.m. Monday, June 14, in the pavilion of Forest Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating.
She was born Oct. 24, 1925, in Boswell, Okla., a daughter of Kim Buck and Bertha Mae Walker Drake. She graduated from Honey Grove High School in 1943, and then attended East Texas State Teacher's College in Commerce. In 1945, she went to work for UPI in California, and then worked for Safeway as an accountant until 1989, when she and her husband moved back to Paris. She married Frank Gimbel, and then later married Douglas Briley.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; a sister, Mary Ruth Berry; a brother, Hubert Drake; and by her parents.
