Mrs. Cynthia J. Burt

Mrs. Cynthia Jane Burt, 78, died at 7 p.m. Thursday, about an hour after she had fallen down a basement stairway at her home near Londonderry. Death was due to a fractured skull.

She was born in Vinton County on Jan. 28, 1874, the daughter of Philip and Sadie Cozad Arganbright. Her husband, B. O. Burt, died in 1936.

Survivors include five sons, Dr. O.O. Burt, Roy C. Burt, Homer L. Burt and Herschel H. Burt, all of Londonderry, and Dr. O.P. Burt, Columbus; five daughters, Mrs. Marie Stevens, of near Londonderry, Mrs. Marjorie Seitz, who lived with her mother, Mrs. Cleo Nichols and Mrs. Hazel Reid, both of Columbus, and Mrs. Majel Pleasant, Kenton; two brothers, George Arganbright, Londonderry and Everett Arganbright, this city; four sisters, Mrs Carrie Betts, this city, Mrs. Chloe Clark, Sabina, Mrs. Alta Brown, Columbus and Mrs. Della Reams, Millersport; 30 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Pleasant Valley EUB Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Boblett Cemetery by the Wrightsel Funeral Home, McArthur. Friends may call at the residence after 6 p.m. Friday
