ELIZA BEALL
---Funeral services were yesterday afternoon at 2:00 at the Christie Funeral Home for Mrs. Eliza Dian Beall.
---Mrs. Beall, seventy-nine, died at her home in La Plata at 12 noon, February 17. She had been in declining health for some time and seriously ill since Christmas.
---Eliza Dian Beall was born March 11, 1877 in Kansas, the daughter of Luther and Ellen Moncrief Graham. The family moved to Missouri when she was about two years old and lived near Sue City.
---She attended rural school and in March of 1892, in a ceremony at her home, she was married to John T. Beall. Ten children were born to the couple, five of whom survive; Mrs. Frank (Yvonne) Rylander of River Grove, Illinois, and four sons, Elzie and Robert of La Plata, Ira of Chillicothe, Missouri and Henry of St. Charles; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
---Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband who died in March of 1942 and three sons and two daughters.
---Rev. C.E. Davis officiated at services yesterday. Special music was by Mrs. Elvin Bragg and Mrs. Lawrence Love, accompanied by Merlene Plumlee. Burial was in the La Plata Cemetery.
---Pallbearers were Larry and Glenn Beall, John (Jon) Rylander, Cecil Graham, Sonny Demory and Hadley Graham.
