Anne Marie Wells, 87, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011. in Arlington. Service: Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1200 South Davis Drive, Arlington, with Father Jim Gigliotti, T.O.R., officiating. Interment: Parkdale Cemetery, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

Anne was born on Oct. 17, 1923, in Milford, Mass., to James Mancuso and Esther Testa Mancuso. A resident of Arlington since 1954, she was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church and active in the Altar Society and Leisure Club. Anne worked as a hardware manager for Winn-Dixie. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Texas Garden Club and Arlington Garden Study Club. Anne also volunteered as a Girl Scout troop coordinator and with the Arlington Memorial Women's Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Grover Wells, in 2008. Survivors: Daughters, Mary Ellen Doskocil and husband, Jim Doskocil of Italy, and Esther Ann Chambliss and husband, Wayne, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, David, Michael, John and Ronnie; great-grandchildren, Taylor, John, Meagan, Rylie and Haylie.
