" 'Pop' Fendler Laid To Rest Here Today.

Masonic Services Held For Beloved Pioneer Business Man Of San Mateo.

Funeral services for Theodore '"Pop" Fendler, one of San Mateo's pioneer business men, whose memory will be revered by hundreds of friends, were held this afternoon at the San Mateo Masonic Temple, being conducted by officers of San Mateo Lodge No. 226, F. & A. M., of which the deceased had been for many years a prominent member.

Death of the pioneer business man, one of the first to establish himself in San Mateo, occurred Friday evening at his Menlo Park home, to which he had retired about two years ago, after 35 years activity in business here.

The solemn rites of the Masonic [?] were attended by many leading business men of San Mateo and [?] San Mateo county pioneers. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery, San Mateo.

In addition to his widow, the deceased leaves two sons here, Harry T. Fendler and Fred J. Fendler, and a brother, Harry Fendler of Hollywood." END

Friends are invited to attend the funeral Mondav efternoon, March 19, at 2 o'clock, from San Mateo Masonic Temple. Remains at Geo. W. Sneider Co., San Mateo."
