Jimmy Lee Norton was born on September 19, 1942 in Leonard, Oklahoma to Lonzo Norton and Lucy (Dunlap) Norton. He passed from this life on March 6, 2010 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years, 5 months and 15 days.

Jimmy had lived in this area virtually all of his life. He worked as the foreman for the Buffalo Ranch and also as a welder. When he was not working, he loved fishing, playing music on his guitar and singing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Walter Howard and Hansel Norton and two sisters, Pearl Cantu and Kathy Mitchell.

He is survived by two sons; daughter-in-law; four sisters; three brothers; four grandchildren; one great-grandson and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
