Avis was born on July 27, 1915 at Bonesteel, South Dakota to Ole and Minnie (Kappelman) Flisram.
She married Henry Savaglio on May 4, 1940 at Evanston, Illinois. To this union three sons were born.
Avis is survived by her three sons, Vincent Savaglio of Racine, Wisc., Luciua (Patrice) Savaglio of Chicago, Ill. and Richard (Sharon) Savaglio of Connecticut; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Holyce (Charles) Schmitz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; her parents, Ole and Minnie Flisram; three sisters, Opal (Lawrence) Peterson, Veulah (Barnard) Olson and Vivian (Merton) Fisher; and one brother, William Flisram.
