Electa M. Borges, 66, Wapakoneta, died at 8:20 p.m. Dec. 29, 2001, at Valley Nursing and Rehab Centre, St. Marys.
She was born June 19, 1935, in Lima to Lionel and Leota Meyers Botkin who preceeded her in death.
On April 17, 1954, she married Robert "Bud" Borges, who died Aug. 3, 1990.
Mrs. Borges was a homemaker and barmaid. She also worked with Koneta Rubber Co., Wapakoneta. She and her husband operated a fishing bait business out of their home. She was a graduate of Blume High School.
Survivors include a son, Rowdey (Sandy) Borges of Wapakoneta; a sister, Audrey Waterman of Wapakoneta; and three granddaughters, Angela, Christine and Erica Borges.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Delmar Botkin.
Private family services will be held at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta.
There will be no public visitation.
