Henry Dietrich, 80, Saint Matthews farmer, died at 11:45 AM yesterday at his home, 214 Iola Road, following a brief illness.
A lifelong resident of Saint Matthews, Dietrich farmed his own property there until 1936. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Funeral will be held at 8:45 AM Saturday at Ratterman's Saint Matthews chapel, and at 9 AM in Holy Trinity Church. Burial will be in Saint Louis Cemetery.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. William A. Minogue and Mrs. Epp Stich, Louisville; a son, Albert Dietrich, LaGrange; three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Schweikert, Mrs. Louise Dollries, and Mrs. Charles Nachand, all of Louisville; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
