Christopher [sic] Rapp, aged 78 years died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Leona Wills of near Stockdale, Saturday morning. He came to this country from Wurtenburg, Germany at the age of 8 years and resided at Beaver most of the time prior to the last 3 years which he spent at the home of his daughter where he died. Besides this daughter, 8 children survive, including 1 son in Pike County. Mr. Rapp has followed farming all his life and was one of the most industrious and well liked farmer in Pike County. The funeral was held Monday at Beaver.
