Oceano, Calif. - Amy Leah Simmons, 69, Oceano, died June 19 in a Granger, Utah hospital of natural causes. Born Dec. 30, 1902, Riverdale, Calif., to Donald S. and Amy Ann Williamson Esrey. She married Homer Ruff, but later divorced. She married Ed Beasquez, and he died in 1963. She married Francis A. Simmons. Amy was a housewife; member of the Methodist Church; past president of the Ladies Auxiliary Moose Lodge of Santa Maria; and past president of the Daughters of the Golden West of Santa Maria.
Survivors: husband; sons, Charles Ruff of Lemore; Darrell Lee Beasquez, Deerfield, Florida; Edward W. Simmons of Midvale, Utah; daughters Mrs. Laverne Erickson, Mrs. Lorraine Pracentinl, both of Fresno; Mrs. Norma Dean Cunha, Layton, Calif.; Mrs. FayAdean Yoe, Grover City, Calif.; Mrs. Betty Lou Parkhurst, Seattle; Mrs. Leah Maye Mallory, Petaluma; brother Don Williamsen of Greenville.
Funeral Wednesday at 1 p.m., Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street. Burial at Midvale City Cemetery.
