Some 1,500 priests, nuns, seminarians and lay people attended his Requiem Mass, presided by Archbishop Albert D'Souza at the Seminary chapel on December 4. Interment followed inside the cemetery of Pune's Jnana-Deepa Vidyapeeth (JDV), a Pontifical Seminary where he had taught for several years.
