OSCAR DARRELL OLSON

Oscar Darrell Olson, 53, 319 Owens Place, died April 3 at his home of causes pending determination by the state medical examiner.
Born Oct. 21, 1918 in Salt Lake City to Carl Oscar and Annie Mary Pierson Olson. He married Alice Margaret Phizackica Feb. 9, 1939 in Midvale, and later divorced. He was a member of the LDS Church, and a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors: [8] sons and daughters, Larry D. of Clinton, Davis County; James D. in the U.S. Air Force in Florida; Gary of Midvale; Mrs. Roy L. (Linda) Stuart, Layton; Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Cannon, Orange, California; Mrs. William D. (Kathy) Rockhill, Long Beach, Calif.; Diane of Salt Lake City; Jean and Lorraine of Midvale; and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral will be Friday at noon, Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State, where friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m., and an hour before services. Burial at Midvale City Cemetery.
