Childress - Kathleen Andrews, 80, died Thursday, June 27, 2002. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Childress Church of Christ with Bill Mayes of the church and Dr. Mike Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home. Mrs. Andrews was born March 1, 1922, in Childress to Luke and Cordia Andrews. She loved her family, friends and the church. She was a faithful member of Childress Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Irene Thrasher; two brothers, Myrl Andrews and Ross Andrews; her twin brother, Ardeen "Beanie" Andrews. Survivors include a sister, Ernestine "Pill" Hackler of Amarillo; two brothers, Howard Andrews of Childress and Clyde Andrews of Plainview; six nieces; six nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
