Mollie was Warren's 2nd wife, a sister of Rosa Leigh Simmons, Warren's daughter-in-law and wife of Warren's son Orris Wilson "Tony" Harcum.
Mollie was the mother of 8 known children: Arthur Hudson "Buddy", Daisy "Sissy" Dean, Raleigh Hinton, Irvin Herbert, Minnie "Auntie" Mae, Robert Lloyd, Bertha "Bert" Bernice & Russell Graham.

"Mrs. Mary Roshell Simmons Harcum, 76, widow of Warren Wilson Harcum and daughter of the late Robert and Mrs. Sarah Jane Brooks Simmons, died at a local hospital yesterday at 3:15 a. m. She was a native of Cook County, Ill., and a resident of this section for 41 years, in Princess Anne County at the time of her death.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. E. L. Brinkley, of Princess Ann County, Mrs. Bertha B. Kellenbergher, of Norfolk, and Mrs. E. R. Ratley, of Princess Anne County; four sons, R. H. Harcum, of Norfolk, R. L. Harcum of Princess Anne County, I. H. Harcum, of Norfolk, and R. G. Harcum, of Miami, Fla.; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and two step-daughters, Mrs. Frank Bailey of Como, N. C. and Mrs. Oscar Winkler, of Baltimore.
Mrs. Harcum was a member of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
Services will be conducted at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday at 2 p. m. by the Rev. J. W. Kincheloe, Jr., pastor of the First Baptist Church.
Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery."
