Thomas died an accidental death as reported in the book" The Annals of Newberry Co.,SC". He had purchased a pound of gun powder in Newberry Village, then imbibing too much, he fell asleep in front of the Inns fireplace, a spark ignited the gun powder. A Charles King owned an Inn, where people gathered to socialize, this may have been the Inn. Keziah, was Thomas' dau and her maternal grandfather was Charles King b. 1730 MD - d. bef 1789. ( He was a Capt. in the Rev War ). Thomas Stark also was a Capt. in the Rev war. The Stark and King family were related several times by marriage. The generations of my family
