Mrs. Richard Staehnke, 51, of Clearbrook community died at Clearwater County Memorial Hospital Tuesday morning, August 5. Funeral services will be held at Clearbrook Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the Augustana Lutheran Church. Burial will be made in the Silver Creek Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home. Rev. Loland will have charge of the services.
A resident of Clearwater County all her life, Della Mae Hanson was born of parents Mr. and Mrs. John Hanson on November 25, 1906. She graduated from Clearbrook High School in 1927, and was married to Richard M. Staehnke at Bagley in the year 1954. Of the immediate family, her husband, a step son, Bud Starhnke, Ricky Montana and her mother survive. Other survivors include seven sisters and six brothers. They are: Mrs. George Metcalf (Edna) Clearbrook; Mrs. Oscar Ask (Cora) Gonvick; Mrs. Lester Larson (Gladys) Clearbrook; Mrs. Myrtle Stoa, Minneapolis; Mrs. Byron Jacobson (Gertie) Round Lake, Illinois; Mrs. Ted Erickson (Pearl) Libertyville, Illinois; Mrs. Grace Lindon, Clearbrook; Alvin Hanson, Virginia, Minnesota; Floyd Hanson, Clearbrook; Walter Hanson, St. Paul; Fred Hanson, Clearbrook, Harvey Hanson, Antiock, Illinois; and Edwin Hanson, Clearbrook.
Mrs. Staehnke was preceded in death by her father and two brothers.
