WILMA EVELYN[BRADLEY]JONES
Wilma Evelyn[Bradley]Jones, 76, of Tilton, died Saturday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. She suffered a broken hip and arm in Feb~1989 from a fall after suffering a stroke.
She was a homemaker and attended the Sherbourne Christian Church.
She married James Coleman Mitchell[S/O Ed and Nannie Mitchell} October 22 1936 and they had one son James Jack Bradley Mitchell. I HAVE A COPY OF THEIR MARRIAGE LICENSE.
She then married her second husband Ashford Jones. I CAN NOT FIND THEIR MARRIAGE LICENSE {2014]
Mrs. Jones was born 18 February 1918 in Fleming County Ky the daughter of Roy Robert and Minnie Lee[Lawrence] Bradley.
She is survived by three brothers, Floyd of Flemingsburg, Austin of Tilton, Calvin of South Carolina, a sister Mary Francis[Bradley]Meyer of Hamilton, Ohio, a nephew, Terry Bradley of Atlanta Ga, and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Mitchell of Fleming Co, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Jack Mitchell, 5 brothers, Robert[Bob], Johnny, Charlie, and twin infant brothers Jesse and William who died in 1922, and one sister Carrie Elizabeth[Bradley]Porter.
Funeral services were 2:00pm. Tuesday, 14 February at the Denton Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Harmon officiating. Burial following in the Longview Cemetery in Bethel, Ky.
