Mrs. Fields died at her home in Silver Point. She was 64. Funeral services were held November 18 in the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home. She was a homemaker and a member of Buckner Community Church.

Her family includes her husband, Austin Peay Fields of Silver Point; two daughters, Charlene Crawford of Baxter and Callie White of Elmwood; three sisters, Cleo Evans and Lillian Watts of Baxter and Pauline Marlow of Cookeville; one brother, Charles "Jiggs" Robinson of Baxter; and four grandchildren, Gina and Scott Crawford and Will and Jesse White.
