MYRTLE BEACH | Mollie E. Lambert Williams, 82, of Forestbrook Road, widow of the late Hector W. Williams, died Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Waccamaw Community Hospital.
Mrs. Williams was born in McColl, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Daniel J. and Callie E. Newberry Lambert.
She was the owner of Williams Furniture in Mullins.
Mrs. Williams was a member of Socastee Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a very devoted christian and enjoyed cooking for her family.
Mrs. Williams was predeceased by two brothers, Gardner Lambert and Woodrow Lambert; and four sisters, Sarah Lambert, Florine Durden, Ora Cribb and Sudie Williams.
Surviving Mrs. Williams are six sons, Lee David Byrant and wife, Edythe, of Myrtle Beach, Leroy Williams and wife, Cheryl, of Myrtle Beach, Larry Williams and wife, Beverly, of Conway, Daniel J. Williams and wife, Patricia, of Myrtle Beach, Heck W. ''Bo'' Williams Jr. and wife, Wanda, of Conway and Walter Altman and wife, Gloria, of Philadelphia, Pa.; four daughters, Kim W. Ward and husband, Carl, of Conway, Debbie W. Lee and husband, Richard, of Conway, Ruby W. Manley and husband, Thomas, of Myrtle Beach and Julia W. Jacobs and husband, Scott, of Navara Beach, Fla.; 23 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lina Jackson of Dillon.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2007, from the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, with the Rev. Jimmy Floyd and the Rev. Carl Ward Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Marion.
