Went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 4, 2011, at the age of 91.
Predeceased by her husband Lloyd K. Sider, her parents William and Olive (Shantz) Moyer, a brother William Glenn, sister Marjorie Funk, and daughter Miriam Ruth Sider.
Survived by sister Doris Bolender, sister-in-law Jean Moyer, sons John William (Anna), Elgin Robert (Betty), seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
As the daughter of a pastor and then as a pastor's wife, Ruby lived and served in various communities throughout Southern Ontario.
Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 from 12 noon to 12:45 p.m., followed by the service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
