Bonnie Roe Strausbaugh, 84, of Kingston, went to be with our Lord February 3, 2011, following a brief illness. She was born October 26, 1926, to the late William K. and Marie D. Roe.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dane F. Strausbaugh. The couple were married on July 19, 1947.

Bonnie is also survived by her children, Andra Stanley, Eric (Anita) Strausbaugh, Craig Strausbaugh, Laura Wilson, Brad (Abby) Strausbaugh; grandchildren, Neil (Abby) Atwood, Erica (Rusty) Lanning, Emily Strausbaugh, Sarah Strausbaugh, William and Bethany Tolbert; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Mackenzie and Madalynn Lanning; sisters, Gladys (late Howard) Bookwalter and Doris (Bob) Briggs; brother, James (Marge) Roe; sister-in-law, Betty Roe; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by daughter, Denise Strausbaugh; and brother, William.

Bonnie was employed by the Mead Paper Corporation, enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was active in the Hallsville Community Center and attended Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Kingston.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston, with Rev. Bennett officiating. Burial in the Hallsville Cemetery.

Friends may call Sunday 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Hill's.
