Pearl was born Aug. 1, 1912, in Norfolk, Neb., the daughter of William and Anna (Voss) Newmann.
She married Rowe A. Trower on Oct. 19, 1933, in Onawa, Iowa. He preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 1990, in Junction, Ariz. Pearl lived in Sioux City for a number of years before moving to Arizona for seven years. She then moved to Newton, Kan., moving to Oklahoma City in 2003.
She was a member of Mayflower Congregational United Church of Christ and was very active in the ladies circle at the church. She was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star and worked with the Shriners. Pearl enjoyed traveling. She won a city bowling tournament. In later years, she also enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include a son, David Trower of Sioux City; a daughter, Connie (Jerry) Murray of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a brother, Ray Newmann of Central Point, Ore.; five nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother and two sisters
