The closing month of the old year set a new mark in vital statistics. Figures reported to the city health department revealed the fact that 30 boys and 27 girls were born in December; Twenty-two boys and 20 girls were born in the city and eight boys and seven girls in the rural district; according to the report. The list is as follows:

Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. Hughes, 306 North Walnut street, girl.
