Mrs. Leopodina Schmidt, 7 Paul St., died Tuesday (April 9, 1957), at her home. A resident of Woodbridge Township for the past 55 years, she was a Past President of the Rosary Society of Our Lady of Peace Church.
Surviving are her husband, Andrew J. Schmidt, a daughter, Mrs. Ferdinand (Agnes Marie) Prehn; three sons, John G., Hans J. and Henry A. Schmidt, 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Moog, Mrs Russell Vroom, Edison; Mrs. Russell Cosgrove, Plainfield; two brothers, John Schmitt, Baton Rouge, LA; Alysius Schmitt, Edison.
The body is at the Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue. Friends may call today from 1PM to 10PM. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 8:30 AM with a Solemn Requiem Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
