Miss Virginia Mason Gibbes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Hampton Gibbes, of Columbia, S. C., and Dr. Samuel Brown McPheeters, son of Dr. and Mrs. William M. McPheeters, of Charlotte, formerly of Columbia, were married at Columbia Saturday, March 5.

After a wedding trip Dr. and Mrs. McPheeters will be at home in Charlotte. The bride has made her home in this city for some time past and is very popular here. The wedding united two prominent old families.
