Anna Belle Wilson, 86, of Roanoke, Va. and formerly of Pottsville Community, passed away Thursday morning in Roanoke, Va.

She was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church.

She and her late husband were the owners and operators of the former Wilson Store in Pottsville, Ky.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane Thornton of Jonesville, La.; a son, Thomas E. and wife Beth Wilson of Roanoke, Va.; a granddaughter, Angela and husband Jamey Moore of Jackson, Tenn.; a grandson, David and wife Jennifer Thornton of Natchitoches, La.; and three greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wilson; son-in-law, James E. Thornton; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Hodge and Linda Kilcoyne; parents, William A. and Mary Letha Cash Goatley.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pottsville Church of Christ Cemetery with Brother John Voss officiating. There was no visitation. The family requests donations to the Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 2933 Corbieshaw Road, Roanoke Va., 24015. The Brown Funeral Home of Mayfield, Ky. was in charge of arrangements, 270-247-0077.
