OBITUARY :
EMILY CATHERINE "KATE" HALTERMAN, 83, of Maysville, died Nov. 27, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.

Born June 11, 1919, in Maysville, she was the daughter of the late Arnold O. and Miranda (Sears) Shreve. She was also preceded in death by three husbands, Arlie Shreve, Charles Harman and Emmett Halterman.

She is survived by several step-children and step-grandchildren; one foster sister, Phyllis Nesslerodt, Maysville; sister-in-law, Dorothy Shreve, Maysville; and several nieces and nephews.

The Maysville Volunteer Fire Company and Auxiliary conducted services, Nov. 29, at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg.

Funeral services were Nov. 30, at the Brick Church of the Brethren, Maysville. Interment was in Maysville Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Brick Church of the Brethren or Maysville Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary. (12/3)
