Funeral services for Mrs. Owen Jenkins, 47, were held Monday afternoon in Bethany Presbyterian church with Rev. Jim Griffes officiating. Mrs. Jenkins died at her home Saturday.

A quartet composed of Mrs. Lewis Jones and Tom, Allen and Leonard Pritchard sang "Sweet Hour of Prayer," "Shelter in Time of Storm" and "Shall We Meet Beyond the River?" Mrs. L. E. Jenkins was accompanist.

Pallbearers were Roy and Merlin Jenkins, Tom and Irwin Morris, T. P. Roberts and Alfred Thomas. Burial was in Bethany cemetery. "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" was sung at the cemetery and Rev. O. B. Proett offered prayer.

Mrs. Vern Edwards Jenkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Edwards, was born July 14, 1907. She married Owen Jenkins Mar. 5, 1928. She was a member of Bethany church. Preceding her in death were her father and a brother, Lloyd.

Surviving are her husband, mother and a sister, Eleanor, Wayne.
