Mrs. Abner (Evaline) Nichols, 81, Lake Rd., Geneva-on-the-Lake, died Sunday at Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, Fla. She was born March 29, 1891, in Paulding, Ohio, and was a Geneva-on-the-Lake resident since 1917 coming from Fremont, Ohio. She was the former Evaline Richardson. Mrs. Nichols was a cottage owner. She was active in school and board of elections work and was a former member of the Geneva-on-the-Lake school board and board of elections. She was a member of Grace Chapter 11, Order of the Eastern Star; and a member and past president of the Geneva Parent-Teacher Association. Surviving are a son, Schubert, Geneva-on-the-Lake; three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Barbara) McHarg, Geneva-on-the-Lake; Mrs. Clarence (Adah) Boyle, Willoughby, and Mrs. Robert (Blanche) Frost, South Euclid; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Her husband died Nov. 11, 1968. Funeral services and Eastern Star rites will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Kennedy Funeral Home in Geneva. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva
