MRS. CATHERINE ABER DIED LAST NIGHT NEAR MARKTON
Resident of Markton Section Entire Life Succumbs to Pneumonia At Age of 77
Mrs. Catherine Aber, a life-long resident of the Markton section, died at her home near that place Sunday evening at 7:30 of pneumonia following an illness of one week. She was 77 years of age.
The deceased was born in 1857 in Oliveburg, a daughter of the late Samuel and Sara (Dehaven) Depp. She was reared to young womanhood there, and in 1879 was united in marriage to George Aber, who died in 1932. The deceased was well known in that section, where she had spent her whole life, and her death is sincerely mourned by a host of friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Martha, of Markton, and one sister, Mrs. John Dippo, of Hazlehurst. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Barton Chapel Church, with Rev. Taylor in charge. Burial will be made in the Barton Chapel Cemetery.
