Paul Contino, 90, of Middletown, died at Elant at Goshen in Goshen. He was the son of Frank and Angelina (Morangello) Contino and the husband of Sonia (Rendon) Contino. He was a U.S. veteran who served in the Air Corps during World War II. He was self employed as a fur designer.
Paul is survived by his wife, Sonia Contino, at home; children: Irene Schlanger and hsuband, Steven, of West Nyack, Helen Contino, of Manhattan, and Paul Contino, of Huntington Station; stepchildren, Susan Comacho and husband, Juan, of Middletown, Lisa Cea and husband, Stephen, of Lewisberry, PA, and Robert Ficalora, of New Hyde Park; sister-in-law, Josephine Contino, of Boynton Beach, FL; nine grandchildren: Alexandria, Roy, Nicholas, Anthony, Natalya, Angela, Philip, Chloe and Max; many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated February 4 at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Goshen. Burial will follow in Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Goshen.
