Born Jan 20, 1920, in Lewisville, Ohio, he was the son of the late David F and Edna Baker Ludwig.
Mr Ludwig was an industrial engineer at Corning Glass Works, Charlerio, and retired in 1982 with more than 36 years of service.
He was a member of Calvary United Presbyterian Church, Donora, where he served as a deacon.
He was also a member of the MacBeth Athletic Association.
He was a veteran of World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret E "Rita" Ludwig; and a sister, Etta Steck.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs James (Cyndee) Luko of Gaithersburg, Md.; one son Larry C "Buff" Ludwig of Shrevaport, La; and four grandchildren, Craig, and Chad Ludwig and Jenni and Josh Luko.
Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 and Tuesday from 10-11 in the James A Rabe Funeral Home Inc 701 Thompson Ave, Donora.
