David Ludwig, 70, died unexpectedly Friday morning, November 2, 1962, at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs Edward Stack, 415 Elizabeth Street, Speers Borough.
He was born April 16, 1892 in Lewisville, Ohio, and resided in Donora for 39 years prior to his death.
He was a retired employee of Anerican Steel and wire Division, Donora plant.
He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Donora.
Survivors are a son, Charles Ludwig, of Fisher Heights: a daughter, Mrs Frank (Etta) Stack, of Aliquippa; two brothers, George Ludwig of New Brighton, and William of Woodsville, Ohio; Two sisters; Mrs Annie Ackerman of West Newton RD1 and Mrs Sophia McAllister of Beallsville; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Richard E Lawson Funeral Home, 701 Thompson Avenue, Donora, after 1 pm Saturday
