Walter was the son of Walter I. and Emma E. Grube.

Walter C. "Bud" Grube, 67, of 409 Stones Crossing, Palmer Township, formerly of 416 N. 8th St., Easton, died Thursday in Warren Hospital. His wife, Shirley E. (Taylor) Grube, died this year.

He was a truck driver for the Easton Department of Highways for more than 20 years, retiring in 1977.

Born in Palmer Township, he was a son of the late Walter I. and Emma E. (Leh) Grube.

He was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, Easton.

He served in the Army during World War II.

Surviving are a son, Delmar A., and a daughter, Mrs. Bonda G. Pfenning, both of Palmer Township; a brother, Wayne A. of of Catasauqua; three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Lennox and Mrs. Carolyn Nicnick, both of Phillipsburg, and Mrs. Arranetta Young of Alpha, N.J., and a grandchild.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton streets, Easton. A calling hour will precede the services.
