Beulah E. "Tootie" Doty, of Fairfield, died at 8:48 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2006, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Brother Brett Wright officiating. Burial will be in Eureka Cemetery in rural Claremont.
Mrs. Doty was born on October 21, 1948, in Olney, the daughter of Delmer and Anna (Catterton) Groff. She was an employee of Career Development Center in Fairfield.
She is survived by son, Wayne Davis and his wife, Amanda, of West Salem; daughter, Judy Bolyard and her husband, Ricky, of Brownstown; son, Jerry Davis and his wife, Angel, of Cisne; daughter, Peggy Speagle and her husband, James, of Xenia; son, Richard Davis and his wife, Peggy, of Parkersburg; brother, John Groff of Claremont; four sisters, Doris Hedge and her husband, Andrew, of Vincennes, Ind., Joan Deck and her husband, Tilden, of Newton, Darlene Hawkins, of Lawrenceville, and Cleo Jones, of Olney; and 11 grandchildren.
Mrs. Doty was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Groff.
