He was a farm laborer. Inducted June 24, 1918, Pontiac, Illinois. To Camp Wheeler, Georgia. Pvt, Co. M, 123 Inf. To Camp Mills, New York, September 18, 1918.
Died at Camp Mills, October 20, 1918, from influenza. Buried in Cornell Cemetery, Cornell, Illinois, October 26, 1918.
