Funeral for Miss Nelson to Be Saturday
Rev. Moe to Officiate at English Lutheran Church
The funeral services over the remains of the late Miss Randa Nelson whose death occurred at the home of her sister, Mrs. C.N. Hillestad, 228 Chestnut Street, will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at the English Lutheran church with Rev. Elmer Moe, of Lyle, Minn., officiating and at 3 o'clock at the Norwegian Lutheran church in Havana township with Rev. R.P. Wasbotten in charge. The interment will be made in the Thompson cemetery.
Miss Nelson, or Rosa as she was familiarly known among her friends had been confined to the house for over a year. All that medical aid and devoted care could do to relieve her suffering was done, but all of no avail. She leaves besides her four sisters, Mrs. C.N. Hillestad and Mrs. A.O. Anderson of this city, Mrs. J.L. Johnson and Mrs. J.O. Anderson of Amery, Wis., seven nieces and eight nephews.
She came to America with her parents at the age of seven years and has lived in this community practically the whole time since. During her long residence in this city she has been held in high esteem as a noble Christian woman of great strength of character, whose high ideals and intense loyalty to those she loved has been an inspiration to all who knew her. Those who knew her the best -- the friends of her girlhood -- remained her staunchest friends throughout her life.
