Leslie Webster
WACO, Mo. … Leslie Norman Webster, 72, Kansas City, a native of rural Waco, died about 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 1996, at North Kansas City Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Webster was born Nov. 13, 1923, near Waco. He was graduated in 1941 from Carl Junction High School. He had lived in Kansas City since 1951. He worked 38 years at Schutte Lumber Co. at Kansas City. He was an Army veteran of World War II who served in Europe. He was a member of Local 1635 Carpenters and Mill Wright at Kansas City.
He married Maxine Bryant on Jan. 14, 1955, at Kansas City. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Diana Webster, Kansas City, and Patricia Webster, Shreveport, La.; and a brother, Alvin Webster, Joplin.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, Kansas City, where visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
