Wilhelmina was the daughter of Henry Heil and Elizabeth Schulte. She immigrated in 1890. She married William Meisheid. They were the parents of 11 children: Joseph ( Apr 1894), Peter (5 Aug 1896), John (1898-1987), Wilhemina "Minnie" (1900-1993), Willie (Jun 1902, NJ), Henry (1905-1976), Louis Alosius (1907-1981), Sara Anna Holt, b. Feb 25, 1909 Canada, died Mar 29, 1969 Orlando, FL) Mary (1911-1925), Born Canada, died age 14, July 18, 1925, at Roselle, Leo Jacob (1914-1969), and a child who died in infancy.

March 25, 1925 - Mrs. Wilhelmina Meisheid was born in Germany, June 18, 1870, and died in the St. Anthony hospital Thursday morning, March 18. She had been in poor health for five years and underwent an operation two days before her death.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning, March 20, at 10 o'clock at the Catholic church at Roselle and she was buried in the Roselle cemetery. Mrs. Meisheid before her marriage was Miss Mathilda Heil. She came to the United States at the age of 16 years, locating at Roselle, where she was employed in the Dick Renze home. Five years after her arrival in this country she was married to William Meisheid of Roselle. They lived in that neighborhood until 1907 when they moved to Canada.

Mr. Meisheid died in Bruno, Sask., Canada, November 19, 1914, and she returned to Iowa, locating first in Willey and in 1916 in Roselle. Of the eleven children born to Mr. and Mrs. Meisheid, nine are living, namely; Peter, John aud William of New Brunswick, N.J.; Joe and Mrs. Minnie Lammers of Roselle; Henry, Louis, Anna and Leo at home.

One child died in infancy and one daughter, Mary, died July 18, 1925, at the age of 14 years. All of the children were at the bedside of their mother at the time of her death, with the exception of the three sons in New Jersey. She is also survived by two brothers, one in Germany and one in the Philippine Islands.

The untimely passing of Mrs. Meisheid is a great blow to her family and countless friends. She was a devout Catholic mother and died fully fortified with the last rites of her church.
