∼This concrete marker was very hard to read, even after I cleaned all the lichens and mold off the face. On the date of birth, Only the month, number day, and last number 6 on the year were readable. The first number looks like it could have been an 8 so 1886 was my best guess. The title is "PRIVATE" with the quotation marks. OSCAR SMITH, Born 2-26-86, Died 12-23-18, Liverpool, ENG, Buried here Oct. 25, 1921. It seems he died in England and a couple of years later the family had Oscar's remains brought back to the U.S. to be interred at the family plot. on the other end of the plot is a smaller marker with O.S. inscribed on it. I assume that is the initals of Oscar Smith.
