DIES OF PNEUMONIA

Waverly Gazette: Richard Woodworth, who for some time has lived with his brother S. E. Woodworth at Agricola, died there Tuesday morning, July 12, 1921. Death resulted from pneumonia, following an illness of three or four days. Richard Woodworth was one of the old time settlers of the country, one of the earliest of those now here, coming with his parents in 1869 and has lived here, in the vicinity of Agricola, ever since. He was born in Lewis county, Kentucky, Sept. 9, 1850, being one of a family of twelve children, of whom five, two brothers and three sisters, survive: Mrs. Mary Truitt of Garfield, Kansas, and Miss Sarah Woodworth and Mrs. Margaret Hickok of Topeka, and Sam and George Woodworth of Agricola; he was 70 years, 8 months, and 3 days of age at the time of his death. The funeral was held from the home Wednesday afternoon, services being conducted by Rev. Tannehill; burial was made in the Agricola cemetery.
