Raymond C.English,64 retired Wabash postal clerk,died yesterday in Decatur Macon county hospital following a heart attack. He had been in failing health for nearly a year. He was a resident of Decatur for 29 years, he came here from Fairmont. He was a postal clerk with the Wabash for35 years and retired in 1939. He was a member of the First Methodist church and the Railway Mail Clerks association.
He was born in Marshall on Jan. 17,1879,the son of John A. and Marietta English. He was married to Miss Ada M. Neville in Fairmount on Jan. 2, 1901. He leaves his wife, brothers,Dr. Hubert M. of Gary Ind.J. William of Paris and Charles W. of Marshall,one sister Mrs. Ava M. Hall of Marshall.
Funeral services will be in the chapel at Dawsons with burial in Fairlawn cemetery.
